| The World as I see it. Unadulterated Photography Since I was a child, I have always worked with cameras. I do not get out a camera very often to record family functions, or to photograph a new area as a tourist. I use a camera pretty much exclusively as an art tool. If I am going out to capture some new images, It has to be based on how I view the world, and the final image as an artistic expression is constantly in my mind as I am composing the image. I look through the lens to see a background for a webpage, or a texture for a 3D file. Every once in a while, I get a good shot that is just a clean photo, good for what it is, art photography, and these pages show my collection of these images as I get them prepared for web viewing. |
Washington - The District of ColumbiaI lived in Washington D.C. for a few years, and found it to be a wonderful, magical place. There is no end to the wonders and talents you can find, all wrapped up in the cover of being the nation's capitol city If there is one place on earth that I felt like I could truly express myself as an artist, this was it. In all fairness, I haven't lived many places, but D.C. was the best. |
Life on EarthHere is my view of the world beyond the bounds of humanity. Nature always has a suprise in store, from a tree or fern sprouting in the heart of a concrete jungle, to the wonders at the center of the primordial forest or swamp. Gaia is my favorite model, and she always gives a good show. |
Trips and VisitationsIn my wanderings through life, I visit new places, and these are the memories I return with. From the architectural wonders and details, to the surrealist glimpses of urbanity gone wrong somehow. There is an image in every new place, and I am determined to find it. this was it. If I did not separate D.C. from this, it would get just too big for one webpage. |
